Islands

Easy Blog Photo
Islands Islands are things that are on water. An island is not a continent . New Zealand is a island. Sometimes islands are very small like the size of an table. You find islands far from land. Sometimes a volcano looks like a island but it is not. Islands mostly have been found, like there has been 192 islands found. Islands are things that aren't joined like Africa. Islands have no other places connected. By Emma

  2. Good piece of writing Emma. Remember we talked about Australia being an island, but we usually call it a continent because it is so big! It is still surrounded by water and that's what makes it an island. You are right about Africa being joined...it's nearly an island...but it's still joined to the mainland.
